Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 17 May 2023: Leading project and commercial management consultancy PMKConsult announces another sponsorship in support of Gulf for Good. This time, the initiative is The Foundation of African Empowerment in Tanzania. As charity partner for the Spartans White Collar event, Gulf for Good aims to raise funds to build a proper Integrated Early Childhood Development (IECD) centre in Samaria village located in the foothills of Mt. Meru in the Southwest region of Kilimanjaro.

The Foundation for African Empowerment is a non-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to improving lives of the most vulnerable children and young people in Tanzania including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

PMKConsult has sponsored two tables in support of Gulf for Good’s cause at the boxing event as well as the training for senior PM Clayton Parsons, who will be competing in the event to raise funds for this noteworthy cause. Gulf for Good’s IECD centre will contain three classrooms, an office, and a playground so that more children who need IECD services can be reached. The Spartans White Collar boxing event consists of 20 professionals, training for 10 weeks with Spartans Boxing Club Arjan for their place in the ring. Spartans Boxing Club Arjan is the first boxing community open to men and women in the Middle East located in Dubai.

Kevin Woolley, Chief Executive Officer, PMKConsult: “With our continuing success and especially our success across the African continent, we look to give back and bring up communities within countries we service. With our service portfolio expanding to include many diverse remits in Africa, we are committed to having a positive impact on the continent. Gulf for Good has a longstanding track record of helping children in Africa and in Tanzania specifically, so we are proud to support this initiative alongside this charitable organisation.”

“The opportunity to watch one of our own compete and participate in something that he is passionate about outside of the office makes this event even more meaningful to us as a team. Many of our colleagues will be attending the event to watch Clayton in action and support the cause – I couldn’t be prouder of this team. Our very best wishes to Clayton and all the boxers participating,” he added.

Clayton is an established senior project manager with over 10 years of construction industry experience delivering multimillion dollar projects in the UAE and abroad. He has a proven track record of mitigating high-impact risks, handing over projects on time and within budget, upholding safety excellence, and exceeding the expectations set by stakeholders and clients. He is currently leading a multi-functional team to deliver a large-scale retail project in Al Ain, UAE.

PMKConsult is currently delivering high-end commercial office spaces in Africa and has recently established an agreement with a leading university in South Africa to bring graduate-level, first year employment opportunities to students successfully completing their degrees. Last year PMKConsult sponsored two climbers for Gulf for Good’s charity challenge to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro to help raise awareness and funds for the Larchfield Children’s Home in Tanzania.
