9 March 2021; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: PMKConsult announces its first new executive appointment since merging at the beginning of this year. Well-known and respected industry figure, Mark Jamieson, CEing. FICE will join the leadership team taking the helm in KSA as Director.

We are equally keen to inspire and develop local talent, in support of the continued successful implementation of the 2030 Vision.”

Mark Jamieson, who is based in Riyadh, has previously served as Vice President for KEO International Consultants where he headed its Project Management / Cost Management (PM/CM) division and was General Manager for KSA. Prior to this Mark was a Projects Director for Turner Construction International, a major PMC based in the UAE and held various senior posts with Carillion in the UK and UAE. As Director – KSA for PMKConsult, Mark is responsible for the operations as well as business development in the Kingdom.

Mark is the Council Member for the Middle East and Africa of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Country Representative for the UAE; he also sits on a number of ICE committees both in the UK and internationally including Buildings, Project 13 and Policy / External Affairs. He has nearly 30 years’ global experience in construction and engineering and has delivered major construction projects from nuclear to rail and infrastructure to building mega projects.

His current ICE roles involve looking after the interests of the 1,000 members registered in the UAE and the many ICE members resident or seconded into the MEA region. He is a regular industry speaker and contributor on construction panels for the Kingdom and the Middle East at international and regional forums.
